No info, but I can't believe on the V's thread that some think Stalteri should be called up, even if he was healthy, which isn't (recovering from surgery). The guy is soon to be 34, needed to be replaced years ago or at least legitimately challenged by a younger player, has no club and therefore no proper professional facility of oversee his rehab. The only time he has played in the last two years has been with the NT in GC or friendlies.
Paul needs to face facts and move on to another chapter of his life (and those advocating his inclusion need to face these same hard facts). Thanks for the dedicated service to your country: perhaps you can return to Canada and be involved in an off-field soccer capacity, be it coaching or management.
Cheers,

It is a bit ludicrous, isn't it. I've been a big Stalteri booster over the years, and as recently as 2 years ago he was likely still our best option for that position, but it could not be more clear that time has passed him by.
It is disconcerting that we don't have a clear cut #1 for that spot, but hopefully Hart can settle that by the end of this group round.
